Fendi is an Italian luxury ready-to-wear brand founded in 1925 by Adèle and Eduardo Fendi, whose reputation is based on its choice of shoes and furs. Fendi is a luxury brand famous for its bags (notably the baguette bag), with the very famous logo designed by Karl Lagerfeld.

An Italian luxury ready-to-wear brand, Fendi was founded in 1925 by the couple Adèle and Eduardo Fendi in Rome. Its reputation is mainly based on its choice of shoes, furs and leather goods (in fur).

Their creations gained in popularity from the 1940s, first in Rome and then abroad. The success of the brand explodes when the couple's 5 daughters join the family business. In 1965, the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld became the artistic director of the luxury brand until 2019.  He is the creator of the Fendi logo, representing a combination of two letters "F", one standing and the other upside down.

In 1977 the brand created its women's ready-to-wear collection under the direction of Lagerfeld.
In 2016, the Fendi family purchased a 17th century palace in Rome. The "Palazzo Fendi" opens its doors in 2016 with a boutique and a workshop dedicated to the brand. This choice clearly indicates its desire to pay tribute to its original heritage and also to look to the future.
Today, Fendi boutiques can be found around the world, and has recently expanded into the United States with boutiques in New York, Bal Harbour, and the Galleria in Houston. Today, Fendi appears as a symbol of elegance, expertise, style and innovation.
